Mini Me Stats

The best way, I have found, to waste money, time, and products on items that I do not need in my daily routine is to understand who I am and what I need. So, here I will list out the "boxes" I have found I fit in, so I know to not buy outside of these categories. However, you may have different specifications or more "boxes" that you need to fill. That is okay! Find what works for you.

Hair:

- Fine Hair: I have a greasy scalp, no heat damage but I have overall hair damage. So, I should not buy shampoos or conditioners that do not match my hair needs.

- 2A Waves: This means I have a bit of a wave to it, but not from the top of my head (it starts about midway down my long hair). I might want to invest in some wave-defining creams but nothing has worked so far.

- High Density Hair: I do not need to worry about adding any hair to my head. In fact, I shed enough that some might argue I have some damage to my hair, but the shedding has not significantly changed my hair density at all.

Face:

- Dry Face (with one oily patch): This means I could benefit in hydrating serums if I wish, but there are some face care solutions that do not work well for me (such as an aloe gel that was gifted to me).

Body:

- Rectangle Shape: My bust and my butt are about the same size, with no considerable shrinkage in-between. I often need clothes that can hide my stomach such as dresses that are not bodycon.

- Ectomorph: I store fat in my body easily, I likely have a lower metabolism, but I should be able to gain muscle mass easily.

Career:

- Teacher: This means that I need to choose professional clothes to keep on hand for my job. I cannot wear jeans on a regular basis where I work. However, I do get summers off. So, it is freeing to keep a few outfits that I feel comfortable in for the summer season on hand, because I likely will not need to worry about dress code then.

Home Care:

- Basic Housecare Needs: I only want dish soap, laundry sheets, and an all-purpose cleaner for the most part when it comes to products to keep my possessions in the home clean. I should not need anything more extreme than that.

- Cook: While I do not spend a ton of time in the kitchen, I am no longer in college or staying somewhere where I can rely on a steady stream of food. I need to stay on top of my own meal plan. So, investing in quality foods or items to keep in the kitchen would be worth it if I used it regularly.

Aesthetic:

- I want more simple and interchangeable color combinations.
- Matte or Pastel colors (but not too much going on at once): Colors like coral, cream, sky blue, and light green go best with my clothing and possession color frame.
- Capsule Wardrobe Goals: I do not want to invest in a new article of clothing until I know that I do not have something like it already, and that I can make it work with multiple combinations of clothes I have a hold of now.

Brainstorming through lists like this remind me what I want to buy and what possessions are not worth attempting to invest in, if I know that they do not fit my personal needs.
